Callahan’s K9 Camp has proudly provided reliable dog walking and in‑home pet sitting since 2016, serving Hamden, North Haven, New Haven (East Rock), and Cheshire (South End). We’re here for the dogs who need fresh air, steady routine, and a familiar, trusted face when their people are working or away.

Walks are calm, enjoyable, and never rushed. Dogs are encouraged to sniff, explore, and take in the world around them. Our in‑home pet sitting focuses on comfort and consistency—whether that means playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping your pet company so they feel secure in their own home.

We intentionally keep our client list small to ensure every pet receives genuine attention and consistent care. There’s no rotation of unfamiliar sitters—just one person your pet knows, trusts, and feels safe with. You return home to a relaxed, happy pet and complete peace of mind.

Dog Sitting

Dogs are let out four times a day for a 20–30 minute walk each outing, weather permitting. If you prefer yard time instead of walks, that can be accommodated. The final outing of the evening is a quick potty break between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Additional home‑care options include leaving lights on to give your home a lived‑in look, bringing mail and packages inside, and watering indoor or outdoor plants. Daily photo and video updates are posted to our Instagram so you can check in on your pet anytime. Overnight in‑home sitting is booked on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

Dog Sitting Includes:
  • Four outings per day
  • 20–30 minute walks or backyard play
  • Plant watering (indoor or outdoor)
  • Mail and package collection
  • Lights left on for home security
  • Daily photo/video updates on Instagram

+$5 per additional pet per day

Dog Walking

While you’re at work, you can relax knowing your dog is cared for and getting the exercise they need. Walks are available in 20‑minute, 30‑minute, and 60‑minute options based on your dog’s energy level and routine.

For safety, walks may be shortened during extreme heat or lightning, but rain, snow, and sunshine are all part of the adventure. Daily photo updates are shared on Instagram so you can follow along.

Pricing:
  • 20 minutes — $18
  • 30 minutes — $25
  • 60 minutes — $50
  • +$5 per additional dog
