Callahan’s K9 Camp has been offering dependable dog walking and in-home pet sitting since 2016 in Hamden, North Haven, New Haven ( East Rock neighborhood), and Cheshire ( South End ). We’re here for the dogs who need a good walk, some fresh air, and a familiar face when their people are busy or away.
Walks are relaxed and fun—not rushed. We let dogs sniff, explore, and enjoy their time outside. Our pet sitting visits are all about keeping things normal and comfortable, whether that means playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just hanging out so your pet doesn’t feel alone.
We keep our client list small so every pet gets real attention and consistent care. No revolving door of sitters—just someone your pet gets to know and trust. You’ll come home to a happy, calm pet and total peace of mind.

I currently work as a full-time Vet Assistant. This is a part-time job, so I might not always have availability. I tend to book fast. Please reach out weeks to months in advance for pet sitting. Dog hiking will be offered again in the near future. Thank you !
Dog Sitting :
Dogs will be let out 4 times a day for a 20 to 30-minute walk each time, weather permitting. If you prefer your dog(s) to be let out in the yard instead of walked, I can certainly do that. The last outing of the day will be a potty break before bed, usually between 8 pm and 10 pm. I can leave the lights on in your house so it looks like someone is home. Put mail and packages on the kitchen table for you. Water any plants that need watering inside or outside. I will be posting daily picture updates on your pet via our Instagram page, so you can check in on your fur baby while you're away. Overnight in-home sitting is booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Please reach out in advance so I can book you early to reserve a slot.

Dog Walking:
While at work, you'll have peace of mind knowing your fur baby was taken care of. I offer 20 minutes, 30 minutes and 60-minute walks, depending on your pet's needs and exercise requirements. The weather is permitting for the safety of the pets at all times. Walks might need to be shortened due to extreme heat or lightning. But other than that, a little rain, snow, or sunshine doesn't scare me. I will be posting daily picture updates on your pet via our Instagram page, so you can check in on your fur baby while you're away.
